Lack of adequate quality supervision is not only a construction safety issue. Increasingly, target customers are wishing for additional testing to be done after the structure has been accepted, which can lead to costly complaints. Here, personnel performing VT/MT acceptance at the prefabrication stage failed. Indications were detected without removing the paint coating using the ET method, confirmed by the MT method already after sanding.
