Careful verification at the production stage often prevents the spread of minor inconsistencies already during the operation of a component, especially if it is heavily loaded. In this particular case, the problem most likely lies on the design side.🛠️
During operation, surface testing can be carried out using classic methods such as VT, MT or PT. It is also possible to test without removing the paint coating using the eddy current method, as long as the coating does not contain conductive additives, such as metallic. 🧲
