NDE/NDT – terminology not distinguished by ASTM system (non-destructive testing) due to the scope of organization operations. ASME BPVC differentiates wording such as inspection, examination or testing so that we can all find ourselves in the topics:

Inspekcja/Inspection – refers to Authorized Inspector activities and determines the act of an authorized person to final acceptance of the element

Badanie/Examination – refers to NDE/NDT

Testowanie/Testing – aims at functional trials e.g. pressure tests or destructive examination
As one can see, we need to educate ourselves in order to align the vocabulary 😊
